Managing clients
Add, edit, and organize borrowers, and jump anywhere in LendrTech with the command palette.
Everything in LendrTech hangs off a client. Each borrower gets their own workspace that collects every worksheet and report you've built for them, so the whole conversation history is one click away.
Adding a client
Open Clients in the sidebar and click New client. A name and an email address are all that's required — address, city, state, phone, credit score, and referral source are optional, and you can fill them in later. Click Save client and the new borrower appears in your list.
The Clients page is built for a long list: search by name, address, or loan amount, and sort by Last touched, Name, or Loan amount. "Last touched" bubbles up whoever you worked with most recently — not just direct edits, but new and updated worksheets too.
The client workspace
Click any row in the client list to open that borrower's workspace. At the top you'll see their contact details; below, everything is organized into tabs:
- Worksheets — every closing cost worksheet for this client, purchase and refinance, with the loan type, loan amount, and last-updated date at a glance. Each row has quick actions to edit, copy, or delete the worksheet, and purchase worksheets get one more: spin up a single-loan report straight from the row.
- Reports — every purchase, refinance, and single-worksheet report, labeled by type. Click a title to reopen it in the report builder.
- Recordings — reports that have a walkthrough video attached show up here as well.
The right rail has a Summary card with the client's details (click Edit to change them) and Quick actions for starting a new worksheet or report without hunting for a button.
To create a document, click New worksheet, pick the loan type (purchase or refinance), then choose how to start: Enter manually, Use template to start from one of your worksheet templates, or Import PDF to extract the numbers from a lender fee sheet.
Editing and deleting
Edit a client from the Summary card's Edit button, or from the pencil icon on the Clients list — update the fields and click Save.
Deleting is permanent. Delete client in the client workspace (or the trash icon on the Clients list) removes the client along with all of their worksheets and reports — you'll be asked to confirm first. To remove just one document, use the trash icon on that row instead.
Find anything with the command palette
Press Cmd K (Mac) or Ctrl K (Windows) anywhere in the app to open the command palette. Start typing and it searches your clients, worksheets, reports, and templates all at once — press ↵ to open the highlighted result, use the arrow keys to move, and Esc to close.
The palette also runs actions — New client, New worksheet, Generate report, Import Loan Estimate PDF — and jumps to any page. When an action needs a client (a new worksheet, say), the palette pivots into a client picker so you never touch the mouse. For a borrower whose name you remember, it's the fastest path in the product: Cmd K, three letters, enter.
